Cheyenne Johnson

Cheyenne is an experienced saxophonist and writer, starting her journey in the music industry. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Music Industry Administration at California State University-Northridge. Cheyenne already holds a Bachelor's in Saxophone Performance from Winthrop University and a Master's in Ethnomusicology from the University of Florida. She's always loved writing and talking about music, geeking out on all the artists and genres she loves. Her favorite genre is classic rock, something that started at a young age when she discovered KISS through What's New Scooby Doo. She also loves indie rock, pop punk, and modern alternative. Some of her favorite artists include Nothing But Thieves, David Bowie, KISS, Yungblud and Twenty One Pilots. Cheyenne is passionate about using her love for music to help others and is currently a volunteer for the Take Back The Night Foundation, where she researches music and helps to curate playlists.
