Cait by Ben Dey Cover Art

"Cait" by Ben Dey is an authentic and beautiful love song that will make your heart glow with its touching perspective. Blending nostalgia with a steadfast message of consistent support, this track carries a wholesome feeling of reassurance. Using the glory of nature to further romanticize the relationship, the words will mesmerize you with their pure language of connection from symbols like the the wind to lyrics like "river running through my blood, kiss me, dear wake me up." The lyrics brightly take you through the genuine joy of embracing the love you have. Through personal growth and exploration, the words will lift you up through open expressions of comfort in lyrics like "as I wrestle with the darkness, it's you I try to find". This uplifting song will allow you to bask in the precious, incredible feeling of being in love.

Drawing you in with an energetic folk sound, "Cait" layers comfort and joy in its instrumentals and vocals. Ben's singing is sweetly resonant, starting the song with a simple voicing to the confident and confessional lyrics. Acoustic guitar strumming and fingerpicking layer a romantic excitement through the song as Ben's voice rises higher and takes its time on the lyrics of this ballad. Percussion and more prominent strumming move the tune out of the realm of delicate and into a whole new level of expression. The sound becomes more confident as though the speaker is leaning into the connection in the words. With expressive delves into falsetto, and an overall emotional style, this track will warm your heart with a sound of unadulterated love.
