We each form our dreams at a very young age, whether it’s wanting to fly planes, be a doctor or a lawyer and even a popstar. At some point in our lives, we created these dreams because we found a safe place in their roots. We discovered something that we excelled at so greatly and fell in love with it. Like most dreams it may be hard to visualize where it can take you at first and you may have constant thoughts of failure. But taking the risk and diving headfirst into whatever the dream may be will bring you pure happiness in the end. Porscha J brings us these same messages of having a dream and wanting to go live it out through her new single “Dreams Of Hollywood.”
The instrumentals give off the feel of a bright summer day with their upbeat melodies. From the tambourine jingles on every beat right down to the soft guitar strings being played at the end. Her vocals shape the song with her amazingly high notes and its beautiful message. The track mentions aspirations to follow your dreams no matter what and I find beauty in that as we all too often don’t hear much of that. Paired well with the vocals are the lyrics like “You say, Dreams come true, you just got to wait, everybody has good days, sooner it will be you.” The lyrics are so beautifully written and extremely uplifting they truly are the heart of this song.
The amazingly hearted Porscha J is from Braintree, Essex, England where she is a singer/songwriter. Her single which was made in only a short time has the meaning of something much greater. A trip to California just a few years ago made her fall in love with the iconic and fast paced Hollywood scene. With the tragedies of the LA wildfires and wanting to help, Porscha J turned to music where “Dreams Of Hollywood” was born and used to help charity those who were badly affected. The beautiful meaning behind this song is unlike anything I have ever listened to, and I highly recommend giving it a listen yourself. Don’t forget to also follow Porscha J on her socials below and be a part of her musical journey.
