Review: "Find Me There" - Laura Lederer

Laura Lederer's latest single, Find Me There, is an emotive pop banger that delves into topics of lost love and personal tenacity. Laura conveys an optimistic outlook to her audience, belting out "Just take a deep breath, you know where, where I'll be" before dropping the hook "Go, just go, find me there". Lederer uses her lyricism to paint a picture of sunny days and warm breezes, peppering her listeners with glowing imagery meant to impart the sentiment that brighter days are ahead. Find Me There is the perfect tune to throw on when you're in need of a little self-motivation to get through a tough day.

Find Me There opens with smooth chords and Laura's powerful vocals pouring through the speakers. About half a minute in, the beat drops and we hear the track's electric hook for the very first time. These sections make this a tune ready for the club – with a big bassline and four-on-the-floor drumbeat, the energy remains high from start to finish. Lederer's vocals sit nicely on top of the heavy electronic dance instrumentation and really shine through on this song. Find Me There seamlessly blends the emotional storytelling of pop vocals with the rhythmic vibe and heavy synth usage of dance music.

New York native, Laura Lederer, just released her fourth single of this year, Find Me There, and is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down in 2024. The burgeoning pop starlet explains that her goal is "to bring fresh perspective to the pop genre and seamlessly blend elements of contemporary sound with timeless themes of love, loss and resilience". Her previous three releases – Tell Me Now, All Your Heart, and I Forgive – all boast a similarly energetic pop aura and showcase a growing discography of impressively genuine singles. Laura's authenticity can be felt in her music, with the young artist describing her mindset as "I try to infuse every note with genuine emotion, inviting you to embrace vulnerability with me".
