The vocals are first sung low and softly as the music gradually builds. As this story is being told, the instrumentation highlights the melody being sung. Faye’s vocal performance shines throughout the chorus and delivers a raw emotion unique to her. The instrumentation suddenly becomes less centric on edm indie elements, and transitions to contemporary elements such as a guitar. These all accumulate to show the more vulnerable, open emotions of the story as if she could no longer hold back. Lexi Faye is an American singer-songwriter currently based in Colorado. In a relatively short musical career, Lexi has managed to showcase her talent and success in abundance. She grew up always singing and performing at various talent shows and church events. Her songwriting journey began just a few years ago, and she’s since propelled her newfound career.
