imstillFranci King Cover Art

imstillFranci has just released her debut single "King", a song about trying to move on from a toxic partner. imstillFranci discusses how this person is not good for her, singing about how he has ignored her and damaged the relationship they had. However, she still wants him back, but is trying to come to terms with him being a bad person and is trying to realize all of the damage he has done. She calls him her "king", but in the definition of an evil and selfish ruler. She is tired of being used by him even though he does not actually want her back, unlike her, and she knows she is much better of a person than he is.

"King" is a mixture of piano, guitar, and string arrangements. The instruments are played all at once, or just one at a time. This is one of the aspects that make this song distinctive to the pop genre. The production is of a slow tempo and has an overall sonically soft vibe, and pulls from folk and country music. imstillFranci has incredible vocals, and she easily switches octaves throughout "King". She also provides amazing harmonies in the choruses. When the second verse begins, drums are introduced into the song that perfectly align themselves with the rest of the instrumentation.

imstillFranci is a Romanian music artist from Sighetu Marmației. She comes from a musical family and has wanted to make music of her own from a young age. She has posted many covers on YouTube channel, singing songs by artists such as Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and Tori Kelly. Now, she is setting forth her music career with "King", and in 2025, plans to release her first EP. She defines herself as a pop and folk artist, so more music like "King" is set to be released next. imstillFranci has already proven herself to be a great artist, having very talented songwriting and singing abilities.
