There isn't always honor in dating, leaving us with the risk of finding ourselves in toxic situations and being used. It's frustrating to find out that someone isn't looking out for your best interests and is instead using you for their own personal gain. Kylie Rothfield shows us this darker side of love in her new single, "Old Man," shedding light on what it's like to fall for an older man who uses you to feel younger and better about himself. Though the situation is upsetting and hard to grapple with, Rothfield empowers listeners by creating an electrifying anthem that exposes men like this ex-lover for what they are--sad, old men that must tear others down to build themselves up.

Co-written and produced by artist Kylie Rothfield & queer indie alt-pop icon Mothé, "Old Man" is a compelling blend of alt-rock and indie-pop that is bound to capture hearts around the world. The track features analog synths, vintage upright piano, & gutsy electric guitars, creating a captivating mix of instrumentals to accompany Rothfield's powerhouse vocals. Adding to the song's unique composition, "Old Man" was recorded in a cabinet style to give listeners an authentic live band feel. Following in the footsteps of edgy, female-fronted alt-pop, Rothfield's "Old Man" is perfect for fans of Olivia Rodrigo, The Beaches, Paramore, Lucy Dacus, or Beach Bunny.

A force to be reckoned with, singer/guitarist Kylie Rothfield has taken the alt-pop world by storm with her soulful voice and skillful songwriting. The artist captured the hearts of many, including Alicia Keys, who described Rothfield as "a blossoming, powerful flower with so much heart, so much talent, so much emotion and vocal power." She has enjoyed much success since she signed her first publishing deal in 2015, landing placements on ABC, NBC, MTV, and E! Network. Rothfield has also been endorsed by Epiphone Guitars and has been recognized for her performances by the likes of Epiphone, SheShreds, Bustle, Billboard, and Rolling Stone. Rothfield continues to tour and record new music with some of her popular recordings being "Never Loved Somebody," "The Barrel," "Ghost," and Everyone Else."
