This back and forth of softer verse with heavy-hitting chorus lasts for most of the track, until it drops off in the last fort-five seconds, leaning more into the dreaminess of the beginning. Overall, this song has an enchanting rise and fall from beginning to end, and is an entire cinematic soundscape wrapped up in three and a half minutes.
Red Moon is an experimental pop artist originally from Norway, now based in both Oslo and Berlin. Self-described as a love child of Stevie Nicks and David Bowie but raised by witches, she’s mastered the art of combining and mixing different genres, testing out new sounds and making her own mark on the music industry. Drawing inspiration from mythology and history, she writes about vulnerable emotions and dramatic tales, creating worlds within her songs. Her first single, “Slow Down,” was released in 2020, followed by a series of more singles throughout 2020 and 2021.
