May does a brilliant job of being honest, showing growth, and self-awareness as well as maturity through this in-depth and raw lyricism. “Trust Your Gut” discusses both the hardships and joys of life, and May carries her voice in a way that shows the balance between navigating happiness and sadness. Maisie May is an artist based out of Los Angeles, California. Outside of making music, May works as a server at her restaurant job. She spends the 1-hour commute to her job in her beloved 24-year-old Mercedes Benz, listening to demos she’s working on and daydreaming about romance. May’s life involves a blending of caffeine, love, obsession, artistic collaboration, brain-numbing work, blind faith, and a rude amount of gasoline. Since moving to Los Angeles from New York in 2023, May has released two EP’s – “2much2give” and “Flirty Masochist”. Most recently, May released the single “Trust Your Gut”. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles and is actively working on releasing new music.
