"Wasted On You" is the newest single from M'Lynn, a song that use metaphors regarding drinking to express the singer's romantic feelings towards someone. M'Lynn explains how she uses drinking to cope with these feelings. These feelings are so strong that she is attempting to get rid of them, because she fears they she is spending too much time crushing on this person. She is stuck between trying to get over them and not wanting to get over them. The title of the song is a double entendre, because not only does it refer to drinking, but M'Lynn also considers her having a crush as very time-consuming.

"Wasted On You" has the perfect late-night chill vibe expressed through the production of this incredible RnB/soul song. When you press play on the song, for a brief moment, you think its going to be a piano ballad, but all of a sudden, you begin to hear a synth. Its not long before the piano transforms from just an instrument, and becomes another synth. For the next three minutes and seventeen seconds, you're sent to a world only consisting of midnight drives and cool and classy nightclubs. This song is nothing less than perfect. M'Lynn is also an extraordinary singer, and her vocals are amazing on "Wasted On You"
