Vanessa Siebrass

Vanessa is an avid appreciator and lover of all genres of music.  Her educational background includes a B.S. in Communication with an emphasis on Journalism and an M.A. in Communication with an emphasis on New Media.  After a radically life-altering event in the summer of 2021, Vanessa was reminded of how fragile life is and faced the realization that she had been merely existing rather than living.  Thus, the 'Year of Concerts' was born, an effort to heal and grow through her love and appreciation of music.  Seeing acts such as In This Moment, Marissa Nadler, Phoebe Bridgers, Halestorm, Badflower, and Samantha Fish live cemented her belief in the restorative power of music.  Naturally, the best way to combine her love for the written word and passion for music led her to become an interviewer for this music blog!
